Decline in Combat on Verdte VIII

Hostilites on Verdte VIII have come to a decline as of 04/18/2013 at 20:53. The conflict has already claimed at least 4,166 lives and seen the loss of 63 units and facilities.

Battle began 04/18/2013 at 20:54 when battle elements of Starviper and Drynn engaged the forces of Raven08. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Verdte VIII are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 59 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
