Decline in Combat on Verdte II

Hostilites on Verdte II have come to a decline as of 04/05/2013 at 19:34. The conflict has already claimed at least 562 lives and seen the loss of 12 units and facilities.

Battle began 04/05/2013 at 19:30 when battle elements of Hander, Starviper, Lex and Justice engaged the forces of Boomington. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Verdte II are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 7 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
