Death Toll Rises on Verdte II

Over 356 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Verdte II. Forces of Hander, Starviper, Lex and Justice have engaged the forces of Boomington in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 04/05/2013 at 19:30 has seen the loss of 4 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 10,046 homes have been destroyed and 751 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
