Decline in Combat on Verdte II

Hostilites on Verdte II have come to a decline as of 04/04/2013 at 23:19. The conflict has already claimed at least 2,644 lives and seen the loss of 114 units and facilities.

Battle began 04/04/2013 at 23:05 when battle elements of Starviper engaged the forces of Boomington. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Verdte II are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 108 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
