Planetary Battle Begins on Verdte I

A large battle began today at 04/04/2013 at 20:37 on Verdte I. Forces of Starviper engaged contingents belonging to Boomington in a violent clash of explosions and weapons fire.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. The battle, in its early stages, has already claimed 10 lives and has seen 1 military assets left destroyed. The citizens of Verdte I are concerned of the conflict. No reports of civilian casualties have been made, however, at this time it is too early to determine whether the conflict will claim lives of the citizens of Verdte I.
