Decline in Combat on Verdte III

Hostilites on Verdte III have come to a decline as of 01/23/2013 at 22:11. The conflict has already claimed at least 61 lives and seen the loss of 47 units and facilities.

Battle began 01/23/2013 at 21:59 when battle elements of BAMF engaged the forces of Pirates. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Verdte III are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 19 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
