Hostilites on Verdte I have come to a decline as of 01/23/2013 at 22:12. The conflict has already claimed at least 12 lives and seen the loss of 12 units and facilities.

Battle began 01/23/2013 at 22:07 when battle elements of Pirates engaged the forces of Starviper. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Verdte I are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 1 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
