Death Toll Rises on Verdte III

Over 61 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Verdte III. Forces of BAMF have engaged the forces of Pirates in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 01/23/2013 at 21:59 has seen the loss of 28 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 721,800 homes have been destroyed and 40,545 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
