Decline in Combat on Alga VIII

Hostilites on Alga VIII have come to a decline as of 06/24/2012 at 13:02. The conflict has already claimed at least 1,627 lives and seen the loss of 27 units and facilities.

Battle began 06/24/2012 at 13:03 when battle elements of Alastes engaged the forces of Goudron and Deveroes. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Alga VIII are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 25 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
