Contact with Planet 17 has been lost!

Numerous communication stations and relays have been unable to make contact with Planet 17. Although, this is initial reporting numerous theories have been put forward about the demise of the ill-fated colony. It could have been destroyed, or simply political turmoil broke the colony down. Planet 17's fate is unknown at this time, due to the lack of any communication coming out of Planet 17 the worst has been expected.
