Planetary Battle Begins on Latfyi VIII

A large battle began today at 05/03/2012 at 05:09 on Latfyi VIII. Forces of Taragarth, Derdek and Nytran engaged contingents belonging to Rakka in a violent clash of explosions and weapons fire.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. The battle, in its early stages, has already claimed 12,315 lives and has seen 12 military assets left destroyed. The citizens of Latfyi VIII are concerned of the conflict. No reports of civilian casualties have been made, however, at this time it is too early to determine whether the conflict will claim lives of the citizens of Latfyi VIII.
