Death Toll Rises on Latfyi II

Over 8,967 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Latfyi II. Forces of Taragarth and Derdek have engaged the forces of Rakka in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 04/21/2012 at 05:35 has seen the loss of 8 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 496,682 homes have been destroyed and 291,350 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
