Decline in Combat on Verdte V

Hostilites on Verdte V have come to a decline as of 02/27/2016 at 15:45. The conflict has already claimed at least 308 lives and seen the loss of 8 units and facilities.

Battle began 02/27/2016 at 15:46 when battle elements of Mallagan engaged the forces of Pirates. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Verdte V are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 8 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
