Planetary Battle Begins on Menpel VIII

A large battle began today at 01/31/2016 at 23:51 on Menpel VIII. Forces of Never engaged contingents belonging to Pirates in a violent clash of explosions and weapons fire.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. The battle, in its early stages, has already claimed 2 lives and has seen 0 military assets left destroyed. The citizens of Menpel VIII are concerned of the conflict. No reports of civilian casualties have been made, however, at this time it is too early to determine whether the conflict will claim lives of the citizens of Menpel VIII.
