Planetary Battle Begins on Verdte XIII

A large battle began today at 12/26/2015 at 16:14 on Verdte XIII. Forces of Pirates engaged contingents belonging to Sniv in a violent clash of explosions and weapons fire.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. The battle, in its early stages, has already claimed 494 lives and has seen 14 military assets left destroyed. The citizens of Verdte XIII are concerned of the conflict. No reports of civilian casualties have been made, however, at this time it is too early to determine whether the conflict will claim lives of the citizens of Verdte XIII.
