Decline in Combat on Menpel IX

Hostilites on Menpel IX have come to a decline as of 11/16/2015 at 16:40. The conflict has already claimed at least 4 lives and seen the loss of 4 units and facilities.

Battle began 11/16/2015 at 16:41 when battle elements of Monk and Stalker engaged the forces of Lightforger. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Menpel IX are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 0 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
