Decline in Combat on Menpel VIII

Hostilites on Menpel VIII have come to a decline as of 10/06/2015 at 09:53. The conflict has already claimed at least 9 lives and seen the loss of 6 units and facilities.

Battle began 10/06/2015 at 09:53 when battle elements of Monk and Never engaged the forces of Pirates. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Menpel VIII are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 4 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
