Death Toll Rises on Verdte VIII

Over 715 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Verdte VIII. Forces of Mallagan and DiebS have engaged the forces of Pirates in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 09/07/2015 at 12:25 has seen the loss of 12 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 0 homes have been destroyed and 9,250 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
