Death Toll Rises on Verfla VIII

Over 680 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Verfla VIII. Forces of Lightforger have engaged the forces of Pirates in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 08/02/2015 at 10:41 has seen the loss of 24 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 3,234,109 homes have been destroyed and 1,214,144 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
