Battle elements belonging to Pirates engaged in combat with the forces of Lightforger on 07/18/2015 at 14:42. The conflicts were reported to take place sporadically throughout the Optcap system.

Citizens of the colonies in Optcap are bracing for the possibility of an extended conflict. So far, both sides are reporting minor losses of 365. The death toll is expected to only increase as this conflict develops.
