Death Toll Rises on Optcap IV

Over 8,810 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Optcap IV. Forces of Alien have engaged the forces of Lightforger in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 07/14/2015 at 03:58 has seen the loss of 1 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 110,506 homes have been destroyed and 110,301 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
