Decline in Combat on Optcap V

Hostilites on Optcap V have come to a decline as of 06/05/2015 at 08:58. The conflict has already claimed at least 189 lives and seen the loss of 181 units and facilities.

Battle began 06/05/2015 at 08:50 when battle elements of Lightforger engaged the forces of Pirates. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Optcap V are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 180 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
