Decline in Combat on Optcap VIII

Hostilites on Optcap VIII have come to a decline as of 05/09/2015 at 12:16. The conflict has already claimed at least 130 lives and seen the loss of 20 units and facilities.

Battle began 05/09/2015 at 11:58 when battle elements of Expack3 engaged the forces of Lightforger. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Optcap VIII are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 20 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
