Decline in Combat on Verdte VIII

Hostilites on Verdte VIII have come to a decline as of 08/27/2014 at 13:54. The conflict has already claimed at least 4,535 lives and seen the loss of 35 units and facilities.

Battle began 08/27/2014 at 13:57 when battle elements of Mallagan engaged the forces of Tesboom. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Verdte VIII are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 34 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
