Planetary Battle Begins on Verdte VIII

A large battle began today at 08/27/2014 at 13:57 on Verdte VIII. Forces of Mallagan engaged contingents belonging to Tesboom in a violent clash of explosions and weapons fire.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. The battle, in its early stages, has already claimed 2,720 lives and has seen 1 military assets left destroyed. The citizens of Verdte VIII are concerned of the conflict. No reports of civilian casualties have been made, however, at this time it is too early to determine whether the conflict will claim lives of the citizens of Verdte VIII.
