Decline in Combat on Optcap VII

Hostilites on Optcap VII have come to a decline as of 08/04/2014 at 16:34. The conflict has already claimed at least 210 lives and seen the loss of 202 units and facilities.

Battle began 08/04/2014 at 16:22 when battle elements of Lightforger engaged the forces of Pirates. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Optcap VII are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 201 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
