Decline in Combat on Optcap VIII

Hostilites on Optcap VIII have come to a decline as of 08/04/2014 at 01:53. The conflict has already claimed at least 166 lives and seen the loss of 11 units and facilities.

Battle began 08/04/2014 at 01:42 when battle elements of Expack3 engaged the forces of Lightforger. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Optcap VIII are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 11 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
