Decline in Combat on Optcap III

Hostilites on Optcap III have come to a decline as of 07/21/2014 at 21:58. The conflict has already claimed at least 3,107 lives and seen the loss of 97 units and facilities.

Battle began 07/21/2014 at 21:43 when battle elements of Byte engaged the forces of Lightforger. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Optcap III are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 78 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
