Death Toll Rises on Optcap IX

Over 1,311 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Optcap IX. Forces of S.Telar have engaged the forces of Lightforger in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 07/21/2014 at 22:07 has seen the loss of 1 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 20,092 homes have been destroyed and 13,252 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
