Death Toll Rises on Optcap III

Over 2,743 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Optcap III. Forces of Byte have engaged the forces of Lightforger in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 07/21/2014 at 21:43 has seen the loss of 19 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 204,543 homes have been destroyed and 351,890 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
