Decline in Combat on Menpel III

Hostilites on Menpel III have come to a decline as of 07/14/2014 at 14:22. The conflict has already claimed at least 54 lives and seen the loss of 34 units and facilities.

Battle began 07/14/2014 at 14:00 when battle elements of Stalker engaged the forces of Lightforger. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Menpel III are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 26 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
