Decline in Combat on Menpel II

Hostilites on Menpel II have come to a decline as of 07/14/2014 at 12:14. The conflict has already claimed at least 8 lives and seen the loss of 8 units and facilities.

Battle began 07/14/2014 at 12:02 when battle elements of Stalker engaged the forces of Lightforger. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Menpel II are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 6 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
