Decline in Combat on Menpel I

Hostilites on Menpel I have come to a decline as of 07/13/2014 at 18:41. The conflict has already claimed at least 8,038 lives and seen the loss of 58 units and facilities.

Battle began 07/13/2014 at 18:42 when battle elements of Lightforger engaged the forces of Monk. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Menpel I are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 54 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
