Death Toll Rises on Menpel I

Over 50 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Menpel I. Forces of Stalker have engaged the forces of Lightforger in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 07/13/2014 at 14:49 has seen the loss of 2 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 932,719 homes have been destroyed and 1,072,105 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
