Decline in Combat on Menpel VIII

Hostilites on Menpel VIII have come to a decline as of 07/12/2014 at 17:17. The conflict has already claimed at least 3,219 lives and seen the loss of 39 units and facilities.

Battle began 07/12/2014 at 16:35 when battle elements of Monk engaged the forces of Lightforger. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Menpel VIII are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 28 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
