Death Toll Rises on Menpel VIII

Over 3,219 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Menpel VIII. Forces of Monk have engaged the forces of Lightforger in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 07/12/2014 at 16:35 has seen the loss of 11 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 81,106 homes have been destroyed and 86,713 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
