Death Toll Rises on Menpel VI

Over 2,754 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Menpel VI. Forces of Monk have engaged the forces of Lightforger in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 07/12/2014 at 16:38 has seen the loss of 3 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 40,184 homes have been destroyed and 25,621 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
