Decline in Combat on Menpel II

Hostilites on Menpel II have come to a decline as of 07/12/2014 at 16:18. The conflict has already claimed at least 1,773 lives and seen the loss of 23 units and facilities.

Battle began 07/12/2014 at 16:12 when battle elements of Monk engaged the forces of Lightforger. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Menpel II are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 20 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
