Decline in Combat on Menpel IX

Hostilites on Menpel IX have come to a decline as of 07/12/2014 at 15:48. The conflict has already claimed at least 2,058 lives and seen the loss of 28 units and facilities.

Battle began 07/12/2014 at 15:37 when battle elements of Monk engaged the forces of Lightforger. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Menpel IX are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 26 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
