Decline in Combat on Verdte XII

Hostilites on Verdte XII have come to a decline as of 03/27/2014 at 16:57. The conflict has already claimed at least 713 lives and seen the loss of 13 units and facilities.

Battle began 03/27/2014 at 16:59 when battle elements of Mallagan engaged the forces of Pirates. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Verdte XII are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 12 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
