Death Toll Rises on Vitlhe VIII

Over 34 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Vitlhe VIII. Forces of Astrogeorge have engaged the forces of Pirates in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 03/14/2014 at 18:25 has seen the loss of 1 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 1,122,800 homes have been destroyed and 1,251,310 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
