Death Toll Rises on Ekbu II

Over 69 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Ekbu II. Forces of Deveroestut have engaged the forces of Pirates in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 03/08/2014 at 11:32 has seen the loss of 16 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 223,040 homes have been destroyed and 424,131 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
