Decline in Combat on Perssi IX

Hostilites on Perssi IX have come to a decline as of 02/23/2014 at 20:37. The conflict has already claimed at least 74 lives and seen the loss of 70 units and facilities.

Battle began 02/23/2014 at 20:34 when battle elements of Valen engaged the forces of Pirates. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Perssi IX are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 68 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
