Decline in Combat on Mendca IX

Hostilites on Mendca IX have come to a decline as of 08/20/2013 at 23:11. The conflict has already claimed at least 9,729 lives and seen the loss of 49 units and facilities.

Battle began 08/20/2013 at 23:07 when battle elements of Ux and Beatcrazed engaged the forces of Gideon. Skeptics feel this decline in combat may only be temporary and warn against regarding it as a downward trend.

Citizens of Mendca IX are equally skeptical as the combat has already claimed countless lives of civilians and wrecked 48 facilities on both sides of the war. The individual colonial governments are anxious to begin the rebuilding process.
