Death Toll Rises on Ekbu IX

Over 4,564 dead and even more wounded as conflict continues on Ekbu IX. Forces of Starwind have engaged the forces of Gideon in numerous attacks and counter attacks. The conflict that began 08/20/2013 at 20:38 has seen the loss of 2 units on both sides of the battle.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. Contacts within the GTC have indicated that trade routes remain unaffected from the hostilities.

The citizens of the empires involved in the war are victims as 243,318 homes have been destroyed and 222,358 jobs have been removed from the economy due to lost factories and other facilities.
