Planetary Battle Begins on Ekbu IX

A large battle began today at 08/20/2013 at 20:38 on Ekbu IX. Forces of Starwind engaged contingents belonging to Gideon in a violent clash of explosions and weapons fire.

Sources indicate that no end to the conflict can be determined at this time. The battle, in its early stages, has already claimed 3,003 lives and has seen 1 military assets left destroyed. The citizens of Ekbu IX are concerned of the conflict. No reports of civilian casualties have been made, however, at this time it is too early to determine whether the conflict will claim lives of the citizens of Ekbu IX.
